Charles Spivey, Sr has been employed with the GCRTA since June 1987, currently working as a 577. He has twenty-six years of experience in supervision.

Mr. Spivey has been elected as the Executive Board Member for Supervisors for multiple terms of office. He explained that he ran for office, "to represent all the Supervisors from being mistreated by the company and to further educate the members." Mr. Spivey believes that the benefits of a union include protecting the union members from being wronged by the company. Union membership benefits the members by helping to make the union strong and grow.

Looking forward, Mr. Spivey wants the Union to continue to make protecting the rights of the union members its top priority.
